SASSA payments starts from 2 February 2024 for all who were waiting since January grants got cancelled. Dates for February have been announced on srd.sassa.gov.za website starting from 2nd of February 2024 to 6th February for all social grants transactions.

SASSA Payments Starts From 2 February 2024
The South African Social Security Agency has announced the payment dates for February 2024 prior to this month to compensate the unpaid beneficiaries in the month of January. Payment schedule is announced for all types of Social Relief of Distress including Old Age Pensioners, War Veterans, Foster Child, Care Dependency and Child Support Grant.

Important Announcement
SASSA has cancelled 1,50,000+ SASSA SRD applications, and the reason for the SRD application cancellation involved the SASSA verification and validation errors. SASSA Announced to Pay Double Grants in February Payment Dates
SASSA experienced some technical glitch at the verification and validation process of beneficiaries and therefore, canceled SASSA Applications of millions of beneficiaries . To compensate for their loss, SASSA would pay double grants to its beneficiaries in February covering January Grants too.
SASSA Payments starts from 2 February 2024 with double relief SRD R350 grants so that beneficiaries would get an overdue amount of SRD R350 and might be able to manage their finances accordingly.
